We had a wonderful day last week writing our poems. Today they are heading away to a school in Tokoroa, and we will receive theirs in the next few days.
Tonight there are 3000 courier bags of writing goodness sitting in school offices across New Zealand. Tomorrow NZ Post Couriers will collect and transfer these precious packages around the country.
96,000 students have carefully crafted individual poems and packaged them up for their buddy classes.
3000 teachers have encouraged, enthused, promoted and scaffolded to help us achieve this epic writing goal.
